Sgt. Sunshine- Black Hole
(Elektrohasch 118CD)

From Aural Innovations #37 (Sep 2007)

Eduardo is back with a new crew to back up his strange and cool songs. I should tell you that this record has nothing to do with the first Sgt. Sunshine record. The drummer and bass player are different and Eduardo (guitar, vocals, production) has gone back in time to the 60’s and early 70’s sound to create a strange but very cool and intriguing record. A Jimi Hendrix experience vibe persists on some of the tracks and the Kyuss influence is no where to be found.. If you liked the Saturnalia release on Elektrohasch, you will probably dig the stuff on here as well. This one has really grown on me. This is not an easy record at first but the more you hear it the more the little guitar licks, catchy but strange vocal lines, all come together for a magical musical experience..
