Submitting Music for Radio Play or Review to Aural Innovations
RADIO PLAY
Aural Innovations welcomes CD's & CDR's of music for radio play. Our main focus is Space Rock, Psychedelia and Stoner Rock, but we also have shows that focus on Electronic Music and Experimental/Avant-Garde/Free-Improv music, as well as an all genres show that features virutally anything (provided it's at least somewhat off the beaten path). REVIEWS
Aural Innovations welcomes CD's, CDR's, vinyl and cassettes of music for review. Promo versions are fine but make sure we get a copy of the cover so a scan can be included with the review. Keep in mind that due to what has become an avalanche of submissions that we can only consider your music for review if your focus is Space Rock, Psychedelia, Stoner Rock, or Electronic music that falls into the space/psych realm. Any questions just drop us an email at jkranitz@aural-innovations.com. We are deluged with requests to listen to people's music online or download their mp3's to see if we'll like it. Unfortunately time does not permit us to do this. If you think your music falls into any of those categories, be assured that we aren't overly anal about it.
PLEASE include any bio or promo material that you can. We want to know about you! And be sure to include contact info including mailing address, and web site and email addresses if available. Also be clear as to where your music can be ordered from. We'll include it in the review.
Finally, and this is VERY importlant... Aural Innovations is run by a small group of rabid music fanatics who write reviews on a voluntary basis. There is no way we can keep up with what has become a flood of submissions. So there's a good possibility that we will only be able to feature your music on our radio shows. But don't let that stop you from sending your music... we've got a fairly sizable base of listeners that is growing all the time.
