PEACE FROG ISSUE #3 (SPACE-PSYCH PRINT ZINE)
Peace Frog is an English language printed zine published in Greece. Nearly 80 pages, the mag is packed with articles, interviews and reviews covering the contemporary Psychedelic and Space Rock scene, and everything and all connected to this music.
Artists profiled/interviewed include Baby Woodrose, The Movements, The Magnifcient Brotherhood, Serpentina Satelite, Timothy Renner (Stone Breath), Aqua Nebula Oscillator, Dave Schmidt (Sula Bassana), Nick Riff, and Artemiy Artemiev (Electroshock Records).
The mag includes LOADS of reviews. AND you get a free compilation CD titled "Peace Frog In Space Test" with tracks by Vibravoid, Sula Bassana, Drug Free Youth, Love Parade, Evel Gazebow, Bob Urh, Penny Dreadful, The Basements, and Ayahuasca Dark Trip.
There's not too many hard copy mags covering music like this these days and these guys are doing a fantastic job. HIGHEST recommendation!

Welcome to the August newsletter. We are happy to announce that Magick Museum (Riffdisc 001) and The World's Alive (002) will be available as physical CDs again in a few days.
The official website is still being updated and overhauled due to some developements that are in the works for the near future. The on site store front that will carry all of the Riffdisc music will be the long established internet mail order company CD Baby. Of course there is always the direct option from Riffdisc through Paypal. The current website is still up and running. www.nickriff.com
Rehearsals for the new upcoming CD (Riffdisc 005) are moving along at a steady pace now that the drum position has been finalized. The drummer for the new CD will be George Shiner who worked with Nick in his power pop rock band from the mid 80s, The Attitude. Steve Hayes from the space rock band Secret Saucer will be adding synthesizers on a few tracks. Peter Platten from Freak Element will contribute keyboards and synths for the main body of the CD. Still finalizing the bass spot and saxaphone due to some scheduling problems that should be worked out soon. Angel Wolf will continue as cover artist for the Riffdisc Series on this release as well.
Here is a new Nick Riff page from the UK on the Sound Awesome website. http://nick-riff.soundawesome.com [2] The site includes many bands and offspring from the Hawkwind family tree and lots of other space rock and psychedelic bands from around the planet. The Nick Riff page contains music from all the Riffdisc Series, pictures, interviews and more...
Thank you to every one who has been forwarding this newsletter to your friends, and to everyone who writes in. Thanks to those who have bought the CDs or downloads this month. Your support is very appreciated. Enjoy the rest of the Summer. Stay Human.

NEW OMNIA OPERA ALBUM AND CALL FOR PRE-ORDERS (AND ASSISTANCE)
Good news... we are at long last expecting the delivery of the new album sometime next week and will ship it out to you as soon as it is in our grubby little hands. In the meantime we have a small shortfall still need to raise some cash to pay the bill for the album. To this aim we are requesting your help...
A call for assistance ...
Do you know of any online forums, groups, musical outlets , online radio shows, Terrestrial radio shows, fanzines magazines, your friends , your friends friend's, websites that be willing to include a link, you get the picture!! . Basically anywhere that Omnia Opera could promote the album and generate the much needed funds to pay for it.
If you can assist us in this endeavour with ideas we would be eternally grateful and dance on our own graves. So get your thinking caps on and do your duty for the Plasma!! Let us know if you have any groovy idea's or can put us in touch with anyone !!
Keep the Plasma strong.
On behalf of the Omnia Opera ...Andy J
PRE-ORDERS AT: http://omniaopera1.bandcamp.com
NOTE FROM JERRY @ Aural Innovations: I have heard the entire album and this is a smoker! This album is clearly not a band who after many years just decided to give it another go. Nothing is Ordinary is a great leap forward. You've got blazing space rock, floaty-drifty space, songs, narrative bits... it's a great combination and it really flows nicely. One thing Nothing is Ordinary does share with the Omnia Opera of old is when it rocks... it ROCKS! Songs like Second Skin, Pictures On The News, The Malgi and Big Brother have that Space Bastardy powerhouse space rock with a punkish sneer attitude. But then you've got really gorgeous spaced out songs like the title track and Leaning Backwards. Lots of variety and it really plays like an ALBUM. So as someone who has been wondering what, after all these years, Omnia Opera would come up with, I've got to say this album is a raging success.
