There's a 2 day festival in Hadleigh, Suffolk on August 29-30, 2009. Space Ritual are the headline act, plus lots of other bands, traders, beer tent, camping, and more.

Dear friends and lovers of QUINTESSENCE A veritable tsunami of new live QUINTESSENCE material is about to crash on your earshores very soon:
The blistering March 1970 St Pancras Town Hall show (or at least the 38 mins that remain) and over three hours worth of Queen Elizabeth Hall 1971 recordings, from two wholly unreleased concerts recorded the same day, all superbly recorded.

These have been licensed by Hux Records from Universal/Island with substantial sleevenotes by Colin Harper. Colin also unearthed a VHS of a 1971 LWT TV show on religious music featuring Q miming to Dive Deep and Jesus, Buddha...There is apparently more film around and we are happy to announce more to come in the not too distant future.

If you were there and want to repeat the experience, or just sad you missed the party, why not take a trip up to the Classic Rock Club in Cheshunt, where you can see both us and Tea for the Wicked play. It’s easy to get there… just get the overground, on the line from Liverpool Street, to Theobalds Grove and walk up Theobalds lane. Its about 5mins up the road, and looks like you’re walking into the middle of nowhere, but have faith… its up there on the right in the bar attached to the football ground. NUKLI, SHOM and PEYOTE GURU – Saturday March 28th – Born to Go Club

We were born to go… to Hitchin! Yes… Hitchin is the new centre of the psychedelic universe, with the return of the Born to Go club, and we are very proud to be playing the first of the reborn to go nights. The organiser’s, Karen and Lee, have a mission is to recreate the old style Festie / Club Dog vibe, when psychedelic rock bands could really push the boundaries and the visual element was equally important to create the right kind of atmosphere. We hope you will make the effort to support this venture! We’re quite happy to play to 3 people and a dog, but Karen and Lee deserve your support for boldly going where no club has dared to go for many years! We’ve played with Shom and Peyote Guru before, and believe me… it’s going to be a blast! Definitely right off the psychedelic richter scale. Again, the best way to get there is overground. Its only 20min from Kings Cross or Finsbury Park to Hitchin.

COSMIC PUFFIN – 3 Day Festival of Psychedelic music

NUKLI are pleased to be appearing at the Cosmic Puffin Festival. All the bands are playing for free, and in fact everyone involved is giving their time for free, so that all money raised can be given straight to the organiser’s chosen charities (National Autistic Society and BLISS – for premature babies).

The lineup is a virtual who’s who of underground psychedelic bands currently operating, including names such as House of Thandoy (with Mike Howlett of Gong), Dream Machine and Litmus. This is going to be awesome if you are into spacey, psychedelic rock, and tickets for the whole event are only £25 and you can bring under 15s along for free.

Silver Machines and Iron Dreams! To celebrate 40 years of the group’s existence, RC had a pow-wow with Hawklords Dave Brock, Nik Turner, Michael Moorcock and co, who took us through some of the rarest Hawkwind releases commanding prices up to £400. Following their highly acclaimed 2004 debut "What the Buzzing", Floorian pick up where they left off -- right on. Culminating in the majestic six-song suite "Seance" -- a ritualistic, post-apoplectic excursion to an other side -- "More Fiend" unveils more evidence of Floorian's affinity for sinuous sonic escapism. NEARfest 2009: June 20th & 21st, 2009, Zoellner Arts Center, Bethlehem, PA

NEARfest, in conjunction with Progressive Arts, are very pleased to announce an amazing double bill for Friday June 19th, the opening night of the 2009 edition of the festival: Van der Graaf Generator and the Steve Hillage Band! Both bands are a supreme rarity in the United States. In fact, Van der Graaf Generator has only ever played one concert in the United States (New York, October 1976). Steve Hillage, while known to break out his solo band from time to time, is usually busy with his ambient dance outfit, System 7, or the mighty Gong, therefore this appearance by the Steve Hillage Band is a true treat for the eyes and ears!

Seven That Spells have been confirmed for a very special event hosted by Roadburn Festival 2009. It will be a once in a lifetime experience where STS will showcase a brain melting-mind crushing 3-set-two hour performance, encompassing the entire 6 years of the band's existence and different psychedelic styles.

It chronicles Schulze's career in great detail and contains full length reviews by Greg Allen of close to 80 CDs. SERPENTINA SATELITE was formed by the end of 2003 in Lima, Peru. Band members are: Aldo Castillejos (drums), Felix Dextre (bass/vocals), Flavio Castillejos (voices/poetry), Dolmo (leadrhythm guitar) and Renato Gomez (rhythm-lead guitar/vocals). In late 2004 the band edited independently their first EP named LONG PLAY, featuring 5 epic songs which oscillate among calm, violence and ecstasy, in the spirit of Space and Krautrock. Constant appearances, underground festivals and freak-outs followed during the next years under the cloudy city of Lima.

Now, their new record NOTHING TO SAY gets released on TRIP IN TIME (distributed by World in Sound). Again, it is an extended 5 track epic recording but this time, SERPENTINA SATELITE brings us a turbulent and more powerful rough sound. For best listening pleasure, this EP was mastered analogue in Walldorf at Perplex Tonstudio (Guru Guru, Embryo, Kraan). The epic opener NUEVA OLA takes you right away on a mysterious trip to the satellite’s new musical galaxy. And for the title track NOTHING TO SAY, better fasten your seatbelts—this is a high energy rock & roll freak-out! THE LAST DROP and MADRIPOOR establish the EP's strong overdrive sound before KOMMUNE I, a final 23 minute journey to the roots of psychedelia.
