QOPH- Dragens Hule, København 7/18/08

We were hanging out at Magnus's place and having a really nice time so we missed the first Danish band called Quebus. It was a small crowd for QOPH, around 40 or so people but they were really amazing. This is a very special band and they have a new singer as well. The music is rock music firmly rooted in a 70's sound, but played in a very unique and complex fashion, and very unpredictable and interesting song structures. They also do some cool jamming. They played stuff from all their records and maybe some new stuff as well. When they ended after about an hour people really wanted more so they came back and played Dancing Madly Backwards by Captain Beyond sung in Swedish and with a really unique structure. Great concert.
