World in Sound is a German label dedicated to preserving the sounds of the 60’s and early 70’s and are totally into psychedelic rock! This is their first CD in a new series called Trip in Time dedicated to progressive psychedelic rock. This CD is all previously unreleased tracks except for Siena Root, Fantasyy Factoryy and Dragonwyk. Siena Root starts the CD with Mountain II found only on a 7” release. Vibravoid perform the cover of Mother Sky by CAN. Stoned Circus, give a live track from their reunion gig in Germany in 2005 (they were a US band from Kansas that split in 1972!). La Ira de Dios, from Peru, give a spaced out track called Eterna Ascencion. Treacle People perform a unique version of Atom Heart Mother by Pink Floyd. The folk-psychedelic rock group, Loxley Beade perform Fatty Morgana I & II. I H8 Camera, a experimental Dutch group perform a live version of Jeroen’s Song. Ma-Nia, a German-Italian band also give a live track called Beautiful City. The CD closes with Karmic Society, performing a jam on Dark Star by the Grateful Dead. Quite a damn cool compilation!
