Tattoed Boy From Birkenhead - "Gliss EP"
(Orange Blueprint Records HF0012)

From Aural Innovations #31 (June 2005)

This is the Belgium bands third release from what I can see from their web page. These are all home demos but the sound is quite good. This 4 track EP (over 30 minutes of music) begins with the slow "Space-Love" track. A very slow moody piece of music with just bass, drum machine, some strange synth sounds here and there and vocals. "Never Ending Day" is next and continues in the solemn mood and is perfect music for a scene in a David Lynch movie! "Richmond Hotel" is a long (10 minutes) track which is a very slow journey. The CD closes with "On/Off (Slowly)". This music is very very laid back and some might say quite boring, but when the lights are low and it is late at night you can feel in the mood to trip out. Go for this one.
