Los Fabios- Demo 2003 (Denmark)

Los Fabios are a new band on the Danish rock scene and one of the few that fit into that heavy groove-stoner rock genre. There are a lot of bands in Sweden but I have heard few in Denmark. Anyway, are they any good? This demo has 4 tracks and "Playing The Game" opens the CD and has a rough and ready sound and a decent hard driving riff. The singer is not bad but no real unique personality. No guitar solo. "Elektronika 60" and "Speedzone" are highly influenced by Fu Manchu and show some good energy but not much originality. "Dodge The Bullet" closes the demo and is my favourite track, a more laid back groove. I look forward to seeing and hearing more from this band.
