Circle Of Willis - "Fractures In The Elderly"
(Spaced Out Sounds 2000, COW-0002)

From Aural Innovations #20 (July 2002)

This is a pretty strange group from Australia. The liner notes are really hilarious to read. At first you want to take them serious but by the time you get to the part about recording in Burma at the same time as the Meatloaf-Stryper collaboration, you know you have been had. These guys have listened to some Butthole Surfers in their time for sure. This is for sure the most difficult for me to describe of all the CDs I have received to review this month. What can I say, just get it. Not space rock, not guitar rock, not ambient, not jazz, not techno... just Circle of Willis.
